In an effort to continually improve our product line; please let us know if there is something else you might be interested in, we continually strive to provide the most effective products and will be willing to work with your specific needs. Here is a brief description of some of our signature products.
Phenolphthalein Presumptive Blood Kit
Phenolphthalein is a highly sensitive presumptive test for the presence of blood. It remains the most practical and inexpensive method for testing suspected bloodstains from crime scenes. No more bulky hinged boxes or crushable ampoules to contend with. Our droppers are protected inside a simple, yet ergonomic, impact resistant plastic jar which fits comfortably in the pockets of your crime scene jacket or BDU's. Our kit consists of three 15ml droppers conveniently labeled for easy use. This provides you with approximately 400 tests per reagent kit, making it both reliable and extremely affordable. Our test kits are also labeled with lot numbers and expiration dates so you never have to worry about the reliability of the test. A test sophisticated enough for the criminalist, yet simple enough for the patrol officer.

Luminol
Luminol is a highly sensitive blood reagent used to detect latent bloodstain evidence, usually associated with a clean up subsequent to a bloodletting event. A strong steady chemiluminescent reaction takes place when the luminol formula is applied to blood, even in trace amounts. Luminol must be used in near total darkness for best results. Our Luminol formula has been used extensively in forensic applications and is well documented in forensic literature. This formula has been used successfully to detect latent blood evidence 36 months old. The kits are designed for easy mixing at the scene to ensure the highest sensitivity of the reagent. Luminol should be used immediately after mixing. The Luminol sensitivity will diminish within 2 hours after mixing so having the ability to mix and use at the scene is crucial. Luminol will not fix blood evidence like other reagents such as leuco-crystal violet, so the application in an even fine mist is essential. These Kits include the finest spray bottles we could find.
A Digital SLR with manual settings and a tripod is highly recommended to properly obtain and document your luminol reactions. To obtain digital image documentation you will need a long exposure time and ability to shoot in total darkness without auto image enhancement (Manual settings). Start with the widest aperture possible (f4 down to f1.4). Shutter speed will vary but 15-20sec is an approximate starting point. Your scene, volume, light and equipment will influence each exposure. Continuous application of luminol is required for the entire length of the exposure to properly expose the image.

Lueco Crystal Violet (LCV)
Leuco Crystal Violet (LCV) is an effective reagent used to locate latent blood. It is the desired blood reagent for many footwear, fingerprint, and bloodstain pattern analysts. LCV reacts with the hemoglobin in blood, turning the stains a dark purple or violet color. The resulting reaction can be easily photographed on light colored backgrounds such as floors, counters, walls, and ceilings. Our kit contains three solution bottles with easy to follow mixing directions. We have one of the few kits available with a high quality ergonomic sprayer which was selected both for its reliability and quality. Our test kits are also labeled with lot numbers and spaces for expiration dates so you never have to worry about the reliability of the reagent. The working solution should be used within 30 days of mixing if un-refrigerated, 60 days if refrigerated.
